Image translation
Read an image in another language, then check the result
Prepare a readable image, review OCR mistakes, and choose between translated text and an image export.
Prepare a legible source
Use the original screenshot or a sharp photograph where possible. Rotate sideways text before starting, and avoid a crop that cuts off letters at the edge. A larger blurry image still contains blurry letters.
Remove unrelated or private material before uploading. A menu, sign, or public screenshot is a better practice sample than a document containing someone’s personal information.
Separate extraction from translation
The tool first needs to recognize the words in the image. If that extracted source text is wrong, a fluent translation can still convey the wrong information. Check recognition before judging the target-language wording.
- Compare numbers, names, and abbreviations with the image.
- Check the reading order in multiple columns.
- Watch for decorative icons being mistaken for letters.
Translate and review the blocks
Choose the target language intentionally; translating a source into the same language may produce little visible change.
- Open the image translator and check the current requirements.
- Upload the image and choose the target language.
- Complete any required verification and wait for the task.
- Compare each original block with the translated text.
- Save TXT for local text edits, or download an offered image format.
Inspect the image export
Different languages take different amounts of space. On the downloaded image, check longer lines, small characters, and text near the edges. The preview text being correct does not guarantee the rendered image is easy to read.
If a signed download link has expired, refresh the links from the original task page while the task is still available. Save a copy locally; an old task URL is not permanent storage.
Text edits on the page are local. Do not assume they are baked into a generated image; use the export’s stated behavior and open the saved file to verify.
